Laurent Licata, R2Livin architects, 2B-Safe and Stuma received the award for Best Construction Team for the Villa Licata project. This villa embodies a total project in which a living area and an inviting experience space have been created. What struck the jury about this project was the complex program in relation to the limited space, but also the extensive detailing and the refined finish. What was not immediately apparent from the submitted file, but quickly became clear during the presentation, was that this project also contained an extensive and complex technical installation.
Since no engineering office for special techniques had been appointed in advance, the conceptual principles of this technical installation had to be concretized during the works. Moreover, this had to be reconciled/integrated with the refined interior concept.
